The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is seeking a motivated and reliable Caretaker City Facilities to join our Asset Maintenance - Caretaker Services team. In this important role, you will help ensure the City's public buildings and community facilities are clean, safe, secure and ready for use by residents, visitors, community groups and Council.
Working across a diverse range of facilities, you will undertake cleaning and caretaking duties, conduct routine inspections, identify maintenance requirements, assist with facility security, and support the set-up of meetings, elections, functions and community events. You will also work closely with contractors, facility users and internal stakeholders to help deliver a high standard of service across the City.
What We're Looking For You will have:
- Experience in cleaning, caretaking, facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining safe and welcoming facilities.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A current WA C-Class Driver's Licence and National Police Clearance.
- Flexibility to participate in after-hours, weekend and event support as required.
