We specialise in the construction, installation, and fit-out of retail, hospitality, and commercial spaces, delivering quality craftsmanship from concept through to completion. As our project pipeline grows, we are looking for a skilled Carpenter to join our team.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to work on a range of retail and commercial shopfitting projects, from custom joinery and fixtures to full store fit-outs. This is a hands-on role suited to a tradesperson with strong attention to detail, the ability to work to tight fit-out timelines, and experience delivering finished, presentation-ready spaces.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Read and interpret shop drawings, plans, and specifications to determine fit-out and joinery requirements

· Measure, cut, shape, and install timber, laminate, and other materials for shopfitting components

· Construct, install, and fit custom joinery including shelving, counters, displays, cabinetry,



and wall linings

· Install pre-fabricated shop fixtures and fittings such as retail units, kitchen and servery counters, and storage systems

· Fit hardware such as locks, hinges, handles, and shelving brackets

· Frame and fit out partition walls, ceilings, and bulkheads within retail and commercial spaces

· Ensure all work complies with the National Construction Code, Australian Standards, and shopping centre fit-out guidelines

· Carry out final finishing, make-good, and quality checks prior to store handover

· Maintain tools and equipment, and accurately estimate materials required for each job

Skills and Experience Required

- Certificate III in Carpentry and Joinery (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum 2 years experience in carpentry, with shopfitting or commercial fit-out experience highly regarded
- Sound knowledge of joinery techniques, fit-out materials, and finishing standards
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and technical plans
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
