Mind Body Well is a boutique allied health clinic located for the past 14 years in the St Kilda Road precinct of Melbourne. We recently moved our office to a lovely bright space overlooking Albert Park Lake in South Melbourne, and were expanding our team. Our wonderful Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists and Dietitians provide therapy for people with a variety of concerns such as mood and anxiety issues, eating disorders, women's health, LGBTIQA+ health, chronic pain, and general mental health and wellbeing concerns.

We are currently seeking a Casual Administrative Officer to join us in this role supporting our administrative team, our clients and our team.
About the role
Our Administrative Team are an important first point of contact for many of our clients and referrers, and they also assist management with all administrative matters and customer service. This position sits closely alongside our full time Administrative Officer, and reports to our Practice Manager.

Skills and experience
We are seeking a candidate who can demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- A bright friendly personality, you must be able to engage with all types of people and be supportive of their work with our therapists
- Excellent customer service and written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and task accuracy
- Strong planning and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise key tasks
- Either training or previous experience in an Administrative Officer role
- Demonstrated understanding of the need for confidentiality in all aspects of work
- Strong IT skills particularly with the Microsoft 365 suite
The successful candidate will receive close support and guidance from our Practice Manager. You must have a passion for excellence in customer service, an ability to prioritise tasks, and a the ability to build warm and constructive relationships with clinicians, team members and other health professionals. We are looking for someone to join our team as soon as possible, with some early evening hours required.
Salary and hours
We're looking for someone to work from our South Melbourne office which is an easy walk from Anzac Station and the St Kilda Road trams, between 10-20 hours per week (with some early evening shifts). Conditions will be based on the Health Skilled and Support Services Award, and will be negotiated according to skills and experience.
