Looking for extra shifts while working with some of Sydney's most exciting hospitality venues?

Odd Culture Group is looking for experienced and reliable Casual Chefs to join our growing kitchen teams across the group.

This is a great opportunity for a professional chef looking for ongoing casual work, additional shifts and flexibility, while working across a range of different kitchens, venues and styles of service.

It's also an ideal opportunity for someone on a Student Visa with strong professional kitchen experience, looking to build consistent hospitality work around their studies and availability.

The Role

As part of our casual chef team, you'll have the opportunity to pick up ongoing shifts across a number of Odd Culture Group venues.

From busy restaurants and neighbourhood bistros to pubs and late-night venues, no two kitchens are exactly the same — but we're looking for chefs who can step in, work confidently and become a reliable part of the wider team.

We're looking for someone who

- Has previous professional kitchen experience.
- Has worked as a Chef de Partie, Commis Chef or equivalent in a busy hospitality environment.
- Is confident working independently and as part of a team.
- Can adapt quickly to different kitchens and styles of service.
- Is reliable, organised and calm under pressure.




- Has a strong understanding of food safety and kitchen operations.
- Is keen to pick up ongoing additional shifts.
- Has flexible availability, including nights and weekends.

- Already works as a chef and is looking for additional shifts.
- Is studying and looking for flexible, ongoing hospitality work.
- Is on a Student Visa and has relevant professional kitchen experience.
- Wants to gain experience across different kitchens and venues.
- Isn't necessarily looking for a traditional full-time role but still wants consistent and reliable work.

Pay: $28.00 – $86,641.62 per hour
