Company Description New South Wales Touch Football (NSW Touch Football) is the official governing body for Touch Football in Recent South Wales and is responsible for developing and growing the sport across the state. Originating from the first formal competition in 1968, the sport has expanded from a handful of associations to a wide network of affiliated competitions. Since its constitution in 1972, NSW Touch Football has seen significant growth in participation, including the establishment of women’s competitions.

As of 2019, more than 200,000 registered players take part in over 150 affiliated competitions throughout New South Wales. The organization focuses on delivering quality experiences for participants, officials, and supporters at all levels of the game.

Role Description The Casual Event Ambassador role is a casual position that supports NSW Touch Football events and initiatives, primarily in a remote capacity with occasional on-site presence as required. Day-to-day tasks include engaging with participants and supporters via online platforms, providing event information and updates, and assisting with registrations and basic inquiries. The role also involves promoting key programs and competitions, supporting the coordination of event logistics,



and helping maintain a positive and inclusive experience for all community members.

Casual Event

Ambassadors may assist with digital content related to events, collect feedback from participants, and collaborate with staff and volunteers to ensure consistent communication and service.

Qualifications

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage positively with participants, volunteers, and stakeholders.
- Basic event support capabilities, such as assisting with registrations, schedules, and participant information in a clear and organized manner.
- Comfort using digital tools and online platforms for remote engagement, customer service, and information sharing.
- Ability to work casually and flexibly, including occasional evenings or weekends when events are scheduled.
- Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to providing inclusive, non-discriminatory service to diverse community members.
- Interest in sport, community engagement, or grassroots programs; experience in sports administration or event support is an advantage but not essential.
