PrimeMark Tutoring is a new tutoring business currently in the development stage, focused on providing high-quality, results-driven tutoring to secondary school students.

We are looking for high-achieving university students and recent graduates in Maths and/or English who may be interested in joining PrimeMark Tutoring as tutors when the business officially launches.

This is an opportunity to get involved early and potentially become part of the founding tutoring team as the business grows.

What We’re Looking For

We are initially looking for tutors who can confidently teach:

- Mathematics — Years 7–10 minimum
- English — Years 7–10 minimum
- ATAR/WACE Maths and/or English — opportunities available for tutors with relevant experience and robust results
- Other secondary subjects may be introduced as PrimeMark expands.

Who We’re Looking For We are looking for people who are:

- High-achieving academically, with a completed WACE and ATAR of 90+
- Confident teaching secondary-school Maths and/or English
- Able to explain concepts clearly and adapt their teaching to different students
- Reliable, professional and organised
- Friendly, approachable and able to build positive relationships with students
- Passionate about helping students improve their marks, confidence and academic performance
- Interested in potentially growing with a new tutoring business from its early stages

Your Role As a PrimeMark tutor, you will:

- Provide personalised tutoring to secondary school students
- Deliver engaging and structured Maths and/or English lessons
- Identify areas for improvement and develop lessons around each student's needs
- Help students develop stronger study, problem-solving and examination skills
- Build students' confidence and motivation
- Track and communicate student progress where required
- Maintain a professional and positive relationship with students and families
- Uphold PrimeMark's standards for student safety, professionalism and academic integrity

Competitive Pay — Tutors will be offered competitive remuneration appropriate to their experience, qualifications and subjects taught. Final rates and employment/contractor arrangements will be confirmed before commencement.

ATAR & Subject Opportunities

Tutors who have demonstrated strong WACE/ATAR results and relevant subject experience may have opportunities to tutor ATAR-level subjects.

For example, tutors with particularly strong results and experience in WACE Maths or English may be considered for senior-school and ATAR tutoring.

Requirements

Applicants must

- Have completed WACE
- Have achieved an ATAR of 90 or above
- Be able to confidently teach at least Maths and/or English to Year 10 level
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the relevant WA curriculum
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be reliable, punctual and professional
- Be willing to complete all required child-safety and screening requirements
- Hold, or be willing to obtain, a Western Australian Working with Children Check (WWCC) where required
- Comply with all applicable child-safety,



privacy and workplace requirements

Previous tutoring, teaching, mentoring or relevant subject experience is highly desirable.

All tutors working with children and young people will be required to satisfy applicable screening and child-safety requirements before commencing tutoring. This may include:

- A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) where required
- Identity and eligibility checks
- Reference checks
- Appropriate background screening
- Completion of required child-safety training
- Compliance with PrimeMark Tutoring's child-safety policies and procedures
