Job Description

Goonyella Riverside are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Washplant Operator to join our Processing team. Reporting to the Processing Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the washplant operates safely, efficiently, and productively while maintaining the highest environmental standards.

This position is offered on a 7/7 day/night roster., Operate and monitor the Coal Handling Prep Plant (CHPP)Performing production tasks include inspections, troubleshooting of production issues, machinery operation and cleaning activities to maintain housekeeping standardsAssist maintenance team as needed for breakdown maintenance repairsIdentifying and rectifying hazards, damage and defectsEnsure all incidents, breaches, near misses and hazards are reported onCultivate positive relationships with all key stakeholders through effective communication & consultationActively take part in the BHP Operating System (BOS) to improve our processes and remove waste from the business

You thrive in a fast-paced production environment, and are committed to supporting a productive, efficient, and safety-first workplace.

Successful Candidates Will Also Possess The Following

Prior work experience in coal handling and processing or other minerals processing.Previous authorisations/qualifications for CHPP RII Competencies ie RIIPRO301D,



RIIMCP301D, RIIWBP203D or RIIPRO302D, Conduct Rail Dispatch Operations and Conduct Coal Stockpile Dozer Operations
