Mental Health Clinician | ECAT Triage | Bendigo
About the Role
Limelight People are recruiting Mental Health Clinicians to join a supportive and multidisciplinary mental health service in Bendigo.
This prospect is suited to an experienced mental health professional looking to work within a collaborative team providing person-centred, recovery-focused care to consumers with a range of mental health presentations.
You will work closely with consumers, families, carers and other healthcare professionals to provide assessment, treatment, care planning and ongoing clinical support.
- Permanent full-time or part-time employment opportunities

Roster & Working Requirements
- Permanent full-time or part-time opportunities
- Up to 80 hours per fortnight
- Flexible working arrangements available depending on service requirements
- Participation in an out-of-hours roster may be required
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments.
- Undertake risk assessments and develop appropriate safety plans.
- Develop,
implement and review individualised treatment and recovery plans.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Support consumers experiencing acute or complex mental health presentations.
- Work collaboratively with consumers, families, carers and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide education and support to consumers and their support networks.
- Monitor consumer wellbeing and respond appropriately to changes in clinical presentation.
- Support referrals, care coordination and discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Participate in clinical supervision, case reviews and multidisciplinary meetings.
- Contribute to quality improvement and ongoing service development.
Requirements Applicants must hold one of the following:
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration; or
- Approved Social Work degree or qualification eligible for Australian Association of Social Workers membership; or
- Registered Psychologist with current AHPRA registration; or
- Registered Occupational Therapist with current AHPRA registration.
Additional requirements:
- Relevant experience within mental health.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of recovery-oriented and person-centred care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Experience within acute or community mental health.
- Experience working with complex mental health presentations.
- Experience in assessment, crisis intervention or care coordination.
- Commitment to reflective practice and continuous improvement.
