Cellar Door and Events Manager

We manage premium cattle stations, fruit orchards and a vineyard to produce high-quality beef, fresh produce and wine under brands such as Hunter Beef, Kuro Kin Wagyu, Tamar Valley Fruits and Coal Valley Vineyard. We currently have an exciting prospect available at our Vineyard just outside of Hobart, Tasmania. We are looking for a dedicated Cellar Door and Events Manager to join our team and support day-to-day operations at the Cellar Door.

We are looking to replace our current Cellar and Events manager who is sadly moving on, this role would require a work week of Friday to Monday with a 4-day working week.

What you will be doing:

· Managing the Cellar Door, Restaurant/Events, Cellar Club and online sales

· Educating guests about our products and venue

· Providing a premium wine tasting experience

· Taking the lead on managing and producing of social media and website content with support

· Managing suppliers, stock levels and purchasing





· Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the Cellar Door including onsite maintenance and repair issues

· Prudently managing the businesses financial performance, in line with budgets and key objectives and strategies

· Business development in conjunction with other stake holders

What we are looking for:

· Excellent customer service skills

· Ability to work independently

· Enthusiastic about wine and local products

· Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and public holidays

· Excellent communication and organisational skills

· Experience in the wine industry is a bonus but not essential

· Excellent attention to detail and service standards

· Hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate The role will be a very hands-on role with a strong drive to deliver on a positive experience to all that visit our cellar door.

This is a permanent part time position, and applicants are required to have full and unrestricted working rights in Australia.
