Catering Project Education is looking for a energetic and experienced Chef / Chef De Partie who thrives in a busy kitchen. This is a casual position, reporting to the Head Chef, working in a busy kitchen catering for students at UNSW.

Young & fun environment, close to public transport. Operating 7 days a week, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner to our residents (NO late nights).

Duties include

- Food preparation, batch cooking to high-quality standards according to the menu and recipes
- Overseeing a section, stocking, cleaning, and organising the station before, during, and after production
- Manage quality and ensure all products are delivered as per SOP and Food Safety Standards
- Ensure consistency across 3- week menu rotation
- Adhere HACCP processes and execute required checks
- Ensuring food storage control,



cost optimisation and waste reduction
- Availability to work across all days of the week.

Essential Criteria
- Applicable experience, Trade Certificate III or IV of Cookery
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety
- High level of organisational skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Punctuality and ability to work independently
- A “can do" attitude
