About the role

We are seeking a committed Chef/Cook to join our kitchen team at Riverview on Camden great hours just 5 days per week 7.00am to 3.00pm No Split shifts just 1 evening during the summer months from 5 till 8.00pm .As Chef/Cook. Breakfast and Lunch service only. Creativity really welcome and an interest in baking there is a fully equipped bakery on site

What you'll be doing

- Preparing and cooking meals according to established recipes and plating standards, ensuring consistency and quality across all dishes
- Managing food preparation areas and maintaining cleanliness, organisation and adherence to health and safety regulations
- Collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service during busy periods




- Monitoring food quality and implementing corrective actions to maintain high standards
- Assisting with menu development and suggesting new dishes or improvements based on seasonal availability and culinary trends
- Receiving and inspecting deliveries of food and supplies, ensuring quality and proper storage procedures
- Practising portion control and minimising food waste whilst maximising profitability
- Adhering to all food safety standards, allergen protocols and kitchen safety procedures
- Supporting training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff as required
