CHEF WANTED MILLIES FISH & CHIPS

Millies Fish & Chips is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced and motivated Chef to join our team.

We’re not your average fish and chip shop. Millies is a busy, modern seafood venue focused on quality food, consistency, speed and great customer experiences.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for helping a fast-paced kitchen and ensuring every meal leaving the pass meets our high standards.

Your responsibilities will include

- Preparing and cooking seafood, burgers and our full menu
- Managing a busy service and working efficiently under pressure
- Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
- Following food safety, hygiene and cleaning procedures
- Managing prep and stock requirements
- Keeping the kitchen organised, clean and running smoothly
- Taking pride in consistency and attention to detail

What We’re Looking For

We want someone who

- Has previous experience as a Chef or experienced Cook
- Works well in a rapid-paced environment
- Can stay calm and organised during busy periods




- Has strong leadership skills and can work well within a team
- Takes pride in cleanliness, presentation and quality
- Has excellent communication skills
- Is reliable and takes ownership of their work
- Wants to be part of a growing business

Experience with seafood, fryers, grills or high-volume takeaway kitchens would be highly regarded.
