Fernwood Fitness Tuggeranong is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate child minding attendant to join our team.

The position involves providing care and supervision within our crèche (Ferngully), providing developmentally appropriate experiences to ensure the enjoyment of the children in care and providing a safe and clean environment for all children. You need to be able to establish relationships and interact with children, giving each child individual attention and comfort as required.

This position is a casual position with hours each week diverse depending on how busy the creche is each day. There is no guarantee of work each week but the expectation is approximately 2 shifts a week, and these shifts would be 2 to 2.5hours a day. Must be able to work Monday to Saturday 9.15am to 11.45am.

What We’re Looking For

- Experience working with children




- Qualifications in childcare desirable but not essential
- Good communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current ACT Working with Vulnerable People card(WWVP)
