Salary: $105,736 to $110,518 plus superannuation Salary packaging options up to $15,900 plus meals and entertainment

Cafs is seeking a skilled and compassionate Child Wellbeing Practitioner to join The Orange Door Central Highlands team. In this rewarding role, you will support children, young people and families through holistic assessment, early intervention, brief counselling and service coordination, ensuring children's voices, safety and wellbeing remain central to all decision-making.

About the Program

The Child Wellbeing Team at The Orange Door provides a specialist focus on the safety, development and wellbeing of children, young people and families across the Central Highlands region. Working within an interdisciplinary service model, the team partners with family violence specialists and other practitioners to complete intake and assessment for families experiencing family violence or child wellbeing concerns.

About You

We are looking for a skilled, values-driven practitioner with experience working with children, young people and families. You will bring a child-centred approach, sound assessment skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary workplace. To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A Bachelor of Social Work or related discipline.
- Experience working with families and children, ideally within the family violence or community services sector.
- Strong assessment,



engagement and case management capabilities.
- Knowledge of child wellbeing, family functioning and risk assessment frameworks, including MARAM.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A commitment to child safety, inclusion and culturally responsive practice.
