We are seeking a passionate and reliable Cook/Chef to join our team at our childcare service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing fresh, nutritious and child-friendly meals and snacks for the children in our care. We are looking for someone who takes pride in providing healthy, balanced meals and enjoys creating a positive food experience for young children.

About the Role

- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for children each day.
- Plan menus that meet children's nutritional and dietary requirements.
- Cater for allergies, intolerances and special dietary needs.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness.
- Ensure food preparation and kitchen areas comply with relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Order and manage food supplies within budget.
- Work collaboratively with educators and management to support the health and wellbeing of the children.
- Maintain accurate records relating to food preparation, temperatures and cleaning.

About You We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in cooking in a childcare, school, commercial or similar environment.
- Passionate about preparing healthy and nutritious meals.
- Organised, reliable and able to work independently.
- Knowledgeable about food safety and hygiene requirements.

- Friendly, positive and able to work as part of a team.
- Committed to creating enjoyable and nutritious meals for young children.
