Children's Ministry Coordinator Part-Time | 11.4 hours per week | 6-Month Fixed Term Contract | Graceville, Brisbane

Newlife Church is planting a new church in Graceville, Brisbane West and we’re looking for a passionate and creative Children’s Ministry Coordinator to help shape what our ministry to children will become.

As our Graceville church plant grows, you’ll have the chance to help establish the culture, rhythms and ministry foundations that will shape how we disciple children and young people for years to come. You’ll work alongside our Lead Pastor and team of volunteers to create a place where children are loved and discipled.

This role could be for you if…

You’re someone who sees children’s ministry as much more than keeping kids occupied on a Sunday.

You love seeing children discover who Jesus is. You enjoy building relationships with families. You’re energised by bringing people together and developing volunteers.

We’re looking for someone who:

- Has experience in children’s or youth ministry, ideally within a church or other faith-based organisation.




- Has strong relational, communication and leadership skills.
- Can inspire and equip volunteers rather than trying to do everything themselves.
- Is creative, proactive and willing to take initiative.
- Has a genuine passion for discipling children and seeing families flourish in faith.
- Has a servant-hearted approach and a desire to work as part of a wider ministry team.
- Has relevant ministry, theological or chaplaincy qualifications — highly regarded but not essential.
