About the role The Civil Construction Supervisor oversees civil construction projects as delegated by Managers and the National Construction Manager to include concrete placement, reinforcement placement, and erection of form work. The role involves supervising and implementing site-level project activity on time and to budget and ensuring that all projects are carried out according to QEHS regulations, client process requirements including quality of build and standards.

Key responsibilities

- Adhere to the values of client as described in the mission and valued statement and in the Code of Conduct
- Display values and put client procedures into practice at a site level
- Work with all parts of the business to build a culture of teamwork and collaboration
- Complete and interpret as constructed drawings and client completion documentation
- Supervise projects to ensure they are delivered safely, on time to specifications and within budget constraints and ensure efficient daily site/diary record keeping
- Supervise civil construction project/s
- Assist the Manager in the development of quotations, where directed
- Liaise with Managers regarding site build requirements, identify design anomalies and manage them in a timely manner as per client requirements
- Ensure that rework is eliminated by following appropriate processes and verification checks throughout the job




- Assist Managers with the professional development and performance management of team members

About you

- Trade or Civil Construction Tertiary or relevant discipline and a minimum 3 years' experience working in similar position
- Must have end to end Greenfield site build experience in Telecommunications
- Ability to work in isolated and remote areas.
- Ability to work away from home for extended periods.
- Knowledge of civil construction field practice as applicable to telecommunications construction and civil construction components, including concrete placement, reinforcement placement, and erection of form work
- Demonstrated understanding of general concepts of civil construction engineering
- Strong WHS and compliance understanding and application in similar setting
- High level computer skills
- White Card
- Current Driver's Licence
- National Police Check
- Ability to work in isolated and remote areas
- Ability to work away from home for extended periods
