ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Civil Design Drafter, you'll work alongside our engineering team to deliver civil design solutions across major BESS, wind, solar and substation projects. Supporting both tender and project delivery teams, you'll play a key role in turning concepts into practical, buildable designs that help bring energy projects to life.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop civil designs for earthworks, drainage, access roads and site layouts across renewable energy projects.
- Prepare high-quality drawings, models and design documentation using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, 12D or similar software.




- Assist with structural drafting and design support activities.
- Work closely with engineering and pre-contract teams to develop practical, cost-effective design solutions.
- Support estimating and tender submissions with technical design inputs.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, client requirements and industry best practice.
- Contribute ideas for continuous improvement, design innovation and smarter project outcomes.

ABOUT YOU

- Qualification in Drafting, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, 12D or similar design software.
- Experience producing civil designs and drawings for earthworks, drainage, roads, foundations and structural elements.
- Strong attention to detail and a practical, problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.
- Experience in energy, infrastructure, utilities, mining or construction projects will be highly regarded.
