We have a solid senior opportunity with one of our leading Insurance Broker Clients in Melbourne.

Our client is a well-known and very respected Broker within the Melbourne networks, they're part of a larger group, providing insurance solutions to their many loyal clients over many years. With the backing of one of Australia's largest insurance groups, they pride themselves on being the experts in risk advice, strategic coverage solutions, and hands-on claims management. Their business goal is to give their clients peace of mind, knowing their business is protected, so they can focus on growth and success.

The Role

Our client is seeking to recruit a Senior Broker / AE to take on a portfolio of SME Clients, this healthy portfolio is an existing book of highly valued clients, therefore you will need 5+ years of experience in a broking position. The portfolio consists of some larger key clients, but also some smaller players needing the same level of service.

Some other components of this role include:

Management of a portfolio through all stages of the Broking process,



with support from the broking team of Account Executives and Assistant Account Executives.

Confidently manage & respond to queries from clients and underwriters – via both phone & email. This may include complex problem-solving.

Develop strong and effective working relationships with external stakeholders, underwriters, to support business retention and growth in accordance with branch goals and objectives.

Highlight and escape any significant issues of concern affecting service delivery.

Identify recent business opportunities

Work from home a few days if you wish. The environment is flexible.
