Senior Service Technician - Appliances and Coffee Equipment

About the Role

As Senior Service Technician, you will lead the installation, servicing and maintenance of commercial coffee machinery and grinders, while building and mentoring a growing service team. This is a hands‑on technical role with real leadership responsibility, ideal for someone who takes pride in doing the job right and developing others around them.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

Manage, build and lead the service team

Train and mentor service staff, providing ongoing technical guidance and support

Support clients with technical guidance and training

Install, commission and set up current coffee machines

Diagnose and repair faults both on‑site and in‑house

Conduct routine preventative maintenance and water filter changes

Operations & Administration

Monitor and manage spare parts inventory, including stock levels, usage and reordering

Manage service communication and job updates through ServiceM8





Maintain accurate ServiceM8 job notes, service reports, parts usage and customer records

Communicate effectively with clients and the internal team regarding service jobs, repairs and follow‑ups

About You

Previous experience with commercial bean-to-cup and manual coffee machines

Electrical or mechanical aptitude favourable

Valid driver's licence required

Police clearance required

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills

Ability to work independently and manage your workload efficiently

Ability to lead, train and support a growing service team
