Tamworth Aboriginal Medical Service - Aboriginal Corporation (TAMS-AC) is looking for an organised, motivated, and people-focused Administration Team Leader to lead our Administration/Reception, Transport and Cleaning Teams.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys leading teams, improving processes, and providing excellent customer service. You will play a key role in ensuring our front-of-house and transport services operate smoothly, creating a welcoming and culturally safe experience for Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal community members accessing our services.

About the Role

This is an Aboriginal Identified Position, with Aboriginality being a genuine occupational requirement under Section 14(d) of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW).

Reporting to the Administrative Services Manager, the Administration Team Leader is responsible for coordinating and supervising the daily operations of the Administration/Reception, Transport and Cleaning Teams.

You will provide frontline leadership, coordinate workflows and rosters, oversee transport services, support staff development, and drive continuous improvement to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities





- Lead and support the Administration/Reception, Transport and Cleaning Teams.
- Coordinate daily operations, staffing, and service delivery.
- Oversee reception, administration, and transport services.
- Ensure high-quality customer service and a culturally safe environment.
- Monitor compliance, records, and operational processes.
- Support reporting, continuous improvement, and team performance.
- Aboriginality is a genuine occupational requirement for this position under Section 14(d) of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW).

Qualifications

- Certificate IV in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience in an administrative leadership or senior administration role.
- Experience supervising, coordinating, or mentoring staff.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level proficiency in Microsoft Office and administrative systems.
- Sound understanding of privacy, confidentiality, and record management requirements.
- Current NSW Driver Licence.
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
- Current National Police Check.
- Knowledge of accreditation and quality improvement processes.
- Experience leading multi-functional teams.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in healthcare, Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services, or community services
