Holloway Aged Care Services is seeking a cleaning and laundry attendant to join our team on casual and / or permanent basis.

Shift Schedule

- Variety of morning and some afternoon shifts across 7 days a week.

About the role Reportingto the Maintenance Supervisor and the Executive Officer will also be responsible for:

Laundry / Cleaning

- Routine and project cleaning and laundry tasks according to documented laundry schedules.
- Cleaning and laundry tasks include but are not limited to washing and drying of resident's personal belongings, delivering and placing residents clothing away into their bedrooms, distributing linen to all houses.
- Completion of Cleaning and laundry tasks according to infection prevention and control and health and safety requirements
- Recording of the completion of laundry and cleaning tasks.
- Preventative maintenance tasks related to Laundry.





About you The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and background:

- Desirable previous experience in roles such as a cleaning and laundry attendant, particularly within an Aged Care Facility, healthcare environment, or a 5-star hotel.
- Proven organizational and time management abilities.
- Familiarity with various cleaning products, as well as the secure handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals, coupled with experience in operating cleaning equipment.

The successful applicant will be required to have the following:

- Australian working rights
- Current police check
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination with two doses
