Youth Focus is a for-purpose organisation that creates brighter futures for young people in WA by offering a range of no-cost mental health services. Established in 1994, Youth Focus delivers innovative and accessible mental health services and programs across WA to help young people aged 12 to 25. A key component of this is our role as the lead agency for five headspace Centres, including headspace Geraldton Centre, located on Southern Yamatji country. As a part of this ambition, Youth Focus is looking for an experienced and driven Clinical Lead to join our team!

About the Role
Reporting to the Centre Manager, this position ensures day-to-day clinical operations are evidence based . Key responsibilities include:
- Support coordinate integrated youth friendly, early intervention mental health services to young people accessing headspace Geraldton and Outreach services through the Geraldton Youth Hub
- Provide clinical leadership, consultation, advice, and expertise to clinicians in the delivery of mental health care to young people and their supports
- With support from the Centre Manager, provide line management, consultation, and support to direct reports in the delivery of day-to-day youth friendly mental health services
- Liaise and consult with relevant stakeholders including, schools, community partners and other services to promote a consistent and coordinated service delivery response for young people
- Oversee the robust delivery of evidence-based interventions, including group interventions, Single Session Consultation, and problem solving
- Lead and coordinate regular clinical case review meetings and team meetings to ensure appropriate clinical service pathway and service delivery
- Coordinate the provision of integrated services within the headspace and Outreach programs, including consortium partners and Private Practitioners
- Assist the Centre Manager with contract related reporting and auditing processes
About You
To be considered for this position, applicants will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (bachelors or higher) with current full registration/membership with AASW or AHPRA
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of clinical supervision, multidisciplinary team coordination, and clinical leadership
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with capacity to prioritise and manage competing work tasks whilst delivering to agreed deadlines
- Demonstrated experience and ability to coordinate care for young people in areas of mental health and substance use intervention, including provision of counselling and therapeutic interventions
- Demonstrated experience and ability to undertake screening and assessment to determine and manage varying levels of risk
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team
- Capacity to work at least one late evening till 7pm (Monday or Thursday)
- ?C? Class driver?s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
