We are seeking warm, organised and client-focused team members to fill two separate positions within our allied health clinics:
- Cairns – Full-Time
- Atherton Tablelands – Part-Time, transitioning to full-time in early 2027
Both roles are ideal for people who enjoy providing exceptional client service, supporting a busy clinical team and helping create a welcoming experience for every client
This is a varied front-of-house role for someone who enjoys creating positive client experiences, building strong relationships and helping people feel comfortable and supported throughout their healthcare journey.
About the role
You will be the first point of contact for clients and will play an important role in ensuring the clinic operates smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include
- Welcoming clients and providing friendly, professional service
- Managing phone calls, enquiries, appointments and client communications
- Coordinating bookings, cancellations and follow-up appointments
- Supporting client engagement and helping clients understand the services available to them
- Maintaining accurate client records and completing general administration
- Processing payments, private health claims and other reception tasks
- Liaising with clinicians, clients and external providers
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic
- Managing multiple tasks and competing priorities in a busy environment
- Working independently and using initiative when required
About you
You will be a positive, capable and personable team member who enjoys working with people and delivering an exceptional client experience. You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in reception, administration, healthcare or a client-facing role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A professional, friendly and confident manner
- Solid customer service and client engagement abilities
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- The ability to multitask effectively and prioritise competing demands
- Confidence working autonomously and taking initiative
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment
- A collaborative approach and willingness to support the wider team
- Competence with computers and the ability to learn new systems quickly
You’ll be organised, adaptable and able to multitask effectively, prioritise competing demands and work autonomously when needed, while remaining a supportive and dependable team member.
