The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
- Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Measure and mark surfaces to determine tile layouts.
- Prepare wall and floor surfaces by cleaning, levelling, waterproofing, and applying adhesives.
- Cut, shape, and fit tiles using hand and power tools.
- Lay floor and wall tiles according to design specifications.
- Apply grout, sealants, and finishing materials.
- Remove and replace damaged or broken tiles when required.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and building regulations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work setting.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
