Our Melbourne operations play a key role in ensuring efficient processing, packaging and distribution of seed across Australia. We have a team of about 20 in the warehouse and another 20 in the office. Our purpose-built facility in Truganina is a safe and friendly setting.
The Role
We are seeking a hands on Leading Hand – Processing to join our Melbourne Warehouse team. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day processing activities, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate manufacturing tasks within the processing room
- Ensure compliance with company policies,
safety standards, and operational procedures.
- Monitor workflow and allocate resources effectively to meet production targets.
- Support and train team members to achieve performance goals.
- Maintain accurate records and assist with inventory control.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Skills And Experience
- Previous experience in a processing environment, ideally in a leading hand role.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to guide and motivate a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ideally experienced LF Forklift licence, preferable reach truck, we can train.
