Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based in Townsville, QLD. The Salesperson will manage and grow a portfolio of customers, including contacting prospective clients, conducting in office visits, presenting product options, and preparing quotes. Daily responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries, processing orders, coordinating with warehouse and logistics teams, and ensuring timely delivery of products. The role also involves maintaining accurate sales records, monitoring inventory levels related to key accounts, and following up to ensure customer satisfaction.



The Salesperson will collaborate with colleagues to identify new market opportunities and support promotional activities.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to understand client needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Sales and negotiation abilities, including experience in prospecting, presenting products, and closing deals in a B2B environment.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple accounts, orders, and follow-ups efficiently.
- Basic proficiency in IT tools such as email, spreadsheets, and CRM or sales tracking systems.
- Ability to work on-site, visit customers locally, and communicate clearly in person, on the phone, and in writing.
- Knowledge of or interest in cleaning products, facility maintenance, or wholesale distribution is beneficial.
- Previous experience in sales, retail, or customer-facing roles is preferred but not strictly required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for customer visits in the Townsville region.
