About the Role

Glasshouse Christian College is seeking a compassionate and experienced College Counsellor P–12 to join our Pastoral team.

This part-time, continuing position is two days per week during term time and provides an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the wellbeing of students from Prep to Year 12.

The College Counsellor will provide skilled, short-term counselling and wellbeing support to students, working collaboratively with College staff, families and external professionals where appropriate.

About You The successful applicant will:

- Be a committed Christian who actively supports the Christian ethos, mission and values of Glasshouse Christian College.
- Hold an appropriate tertiary qualification in counselling, psychology, social work or a related discipline.
- Hold appropriate professional registration, accreditation or membership where applicable.




- Have experience providing counselling or wellbeing support to children and/or adolescents.
- Be able to work effectively with students across the Prep to Year 12 age range.
- Demonstrate knowledge of child and adolescent mental health and wellbeing.
- Have experience in risk assessment, child protection and responding to significant student wellbeing concerns.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Work collaboratively with students, families, College staff and external professionals.
- Hold a current Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
