We are currently supporting a leading Australian power infrastructure organisation that is expanding its commissioning capability across NSW, VIC and SA.

They are looking to appoint several Commissioning Engineers and Senior Commissioning Officers to support a growing pipeline of transmission, substation and renewable energy infrastructure projects.

The Chance

Depending on your experience and seniority, responsibilities may include:

- Delivering testing and commissioning activities across HV electrical infrastructure projects
- Preparing and reviewing commissioning plans, procedures, test sheets and reports
- Testing and commissioning primary and secondary electrical systems
- Supporting protection, control, SCADA and associated electrical systems
- Coordinating energisation, functional testing and project handover
- Troubleshooting technical and commissioning issues on site
- Working closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors and clients




- Ensuring commissioning activities are delivered safely and in accordance with project requirements and relevant standards
- For senior-level candidates, coordinating commissioning activities and providing technical guidance to site teams

About You We are interested in speaking with candidates who have experience in areas such as:

- HV substations
- Transmission and distribution infrastructure
- Protection and control systems
- Primary or secondary electrical systems
- Testing and commissioning
- Renewable energy projects including Wind, Solar and BESS
- EPC or major electrical infrastructure projects

Previous experience working on Australian power infrastructure projects would be highly regarded. Travel & Package The role will involve regular site travel during active commissioning periods.

A competitive permanent salary package is available, with relevant project travel, flights and applicable travel/site allowances provided as part of the overall employment arrangement.
