About the role

Upscale Funds Management is seeking a Communications Coordinator to form our dynamic marketing and communications team. This is a full-time position based in Toowoomba, QLD.

As Communications

Coordinator, you will play a vital role in developing, executing and managing our internal and external communications strategies. You will be responsible for ensuring consistent, clear and compelling messaging across all communication channels, supporting the organisation's strategic objectives and enhancing our brand presence.

Key responsibilities

- Develop and coordinate communications campaigns across multiple channels, including email, social media, newsletters and website content
- Create engaging written content, including press releases, articles, blog posts and marketing materials
- Manage social media accounts and monitor engagement, responding to inquiries and maintaining brand consistency
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather information and ensure alignment of messaging across all communications
- Assist in the planning and execution of company events, webinars and presentations
- Maintain and update communications databases and distribution lists
- Monitor communications performance metrics and provide regular reports on campaign effectiveness
- Ensure all communications comply with brand guidelines and organisational policies
- Support the development of internal communications initiatives to promote employee engagement and culture
- Assist with media relations and manage press inquiries as required

Interstate travel may occur a few times a year with regional travel approximately once a fortnight.

What we're looking for Qualifications

- A degree in Communications or Marketing or equivalent experience
- 1-5 years' experience in a communications role, however graduates with work experience or great results will be considered

Skills
- Concise professional writing
- Intermediate digital & social media skills




- A strong affinity or background in Australian agriculture
- Project management: robust on detail, delivers on budget on time
- Presence and persuasion: ability to sell, hold an audience, generate respect
- Stakeholder engagement & relationship management

Technical
1. AI search & development, online SEO understanding
2. All Microsoft 365 functions particularly PowerPoint
3. Graphic design in Adobe/Canva etc
4. Basic video production & editing
