About the role
As a support worker, you'll provide assistance to clients in their homes in both an Aged Care and Disability Support setting, ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their wellbeing, independence, interests and choices.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high quality, protected, and timely personal care; assisting with the functions of daily living according to the individual needs of the clients.
- Support and care for clients as they age and assist them to maintain their independence and live with dignity, self-determination and comfort
- Assist the clients with self-care needs, domestic services, safe mobility and transfers
- Complete documentation
- Ensure effective and consumer focused care and service delivery for all clients
About you
- Certificate III in Individual Support & Ageing (or equivalent)
- Experience in Aged Care and/or Disability Support Environments highly regarded
- Valid working rights in Australia (Passport,
Birth Certificate etc)
- Prior to commencement - complete a National Police Check and or a NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Driver's Licence with a safe and reliable Vehicle with full Comprehensive Insurance
