About the role
We have an exciting full time or part-time opportunity for a Construction Labourer / Yard Hand to join the team at Stroud Homes Dubbo. Based in Dubbo, NSW 2830, this role will involve providing vital support to our construction and site operations teams.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting the construction team with carpentry tasks
- Loading, unloading and transporting materials and equipment within the region
- Building site establishment - erecting site fence, toilet and ensuring sites are clean and meet WHS requirements
- General maintenance to trailers, equipment and within the yard
- Providing hands-on support to tradespeople as needed
- Ensuring a safe and tidy work environment at all times
What we're looking for
- Current unrestricted driver's license ( no P platers )
- MR truck license or willing to obtain license at our expense
- Forklift license or willing to obtain license at our expense
- Desirable: Bobcat / Skid steer operator
- Holders of a White Card preferred but not essential
- A positive, energetic, and hardworking attitude
- Experience in a similar labourer or yard hand role, ideally within the construction industry
- Part time hours are available
- A demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety
- The ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Applicants must be local to Dubbo and live in the area
