We're currently recruiting for a Contract Administrator to join a growing organisation delivering projects across the infrastructure and construction sector.
This is a full-time, permanent role based in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs, offering the opportunity to take ownership of post-award contract administration across major projects.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Administer head contracts throughout the post-award project phase
- Prepare payment schedules and manage variations, amendments and deadlines
- Draft and manage Notices of Variation, Notices of Delay and contractual correspondence
- Assist with drafting, negotiating and executing subcontract agreements and departures
- Manage subcontractor claims, commercial compliance and accurate contract records
Skills and Requirements
- Contract administration experience within construction, civil infrastructure, rail, transport, utilities, resources, defence, engineering or other project-based industries
- Solid knowledge of head contracts and subcontract administration, including variations, progress claims, payment schedules, delays and contractual notices
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to interpret contracts, identify risks, manage deadlines and draft contractual correspondence
- Tier 1 experience is highly regarded; candidates from Tier 2 contractors, specialist subcontractors, FRP, residential construction or similarly complex contracting environments are also encouraged to apply
