We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our educational institution in Concord West, Current South Wales. This part-time, permanent role is essential for providing nutritious and delicious meals to our students and staff, fostering a positive dining experience that supports our educational mission. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook a variety of meals, ensuring quality and presentation meet our standards.

- Plan menus in collaboration with the educational team, considering dietary requirements and preferences.

- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.

- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

- Assist in training and supervising kitchen staff and volunteers.





- Monitor food storage and preparation areas to ensure compliance with food safety standards.

- Engage with students and staff to gather feedback on meals and make improvements where necessary.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Cook, preferably in an educational or institutional setting.

- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.

- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate well with others.

- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
