We are seeking a Cook with experience in larder and dessert sectionsmainly to work in our busy steakhouse kitchen. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in quality food, presentation and working as part of a professional team.

About the role

As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the larder and dessert sections, ensuring all dishes are prepared to a consistently high standard throughout service. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in quality food, presentation and working as part of a professional team.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare and organise everything in place for the larder and dessert sections
- Prepare salads, cold dishes, sauces, garnishes, and other larder items
- Prepare and plate desserts to a high standard
- Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation across all dishes
- Work efficiently during busy service periods
- Maintain stock levels and minimise food wastage
- Follow food safety, hygiene,



and kitchen procedures
- Keep your section clean, organised, and well maintained
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team
- Assist other sections when required

About you

- Previous experience as a Cook in a café, restaurant, pub, hotel, or steakhouse
- Experience working in larder and/or dessert sections
- Strong attention to detail and presentation
- Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Passion for quality food and hospitality
