About the role The Coordinator Contracts and Property plays a key role in supporting our outreach services by coordinating property, facilities, and contract management activities across Australia and Timor Leste. Working closely with the Finance Manager and Service Directors, the role ensures that sites and assets are safe, well maintained, and compliant with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
The position is also responsible for managing funding and service agreements, ensuring contracts remain current, fit for purpose, and aligned with organisational policies and legislative obligations. Through effective coordination and stakeholder engagement, the Coordinator Contracts and Property helps support the delivery of high-quality, sustainable services across our geographically dispersed footprint.
The role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis, working 38 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate the management of Social Outreach properties, facilities, leases, and assets to ensure they are safe, compliant, and well maintained.
- Oversee preventative and reactive maintenance programs, minor capital works, and asset management activities within approved budgets.
- Manage contractor performance, compliance, and workplace safety, ensuring services deliver value for money and meet organisational standards.
- Lead procurement, fleet allocation,
and facilities-related operational activities in collaboration with internal stakeholders and service providers.
- Coordinate the negotiation, administration, and renewal of service agreements, leases, and contracts, maintaining an accurate contract register.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including property managers, contractors, legal services, and service leaders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, health and safety requirements, organisational policies, and quality assurance standards.
- Support environmental sustainability initiatives by driving energy, water, and waste efficiency strategies across the outreach services portfolio.
Your skills and experience You will hold relevant qualifications in commerce, business, property, contract management, or a related discipline, along with demonstrated experience in property and contract management.
Essential to this role is a sound knowledge of maintenance management systems, contract administration and negotiations, and relevant State and Federal legislation relating to property, facilities, and contract management.
Success in this role will require exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships across a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders and geographical locations. You will bring strong organisational and time management capabilities, enabling you to effectively manage competing priorities, foster collaboration, and support the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives.

We can offer you
- Salary: $128,800 to $143,100, plus 12% superannuation
- Full time permanent position, working 38 hours a week.
