Description of position:

Provides prompt and courteous member service. Garnishes, weighs, wraps, labels and merchandises bakery products.

Daily tasks and responsibilities:

- Maintains current product knowledge of bakery items.

- Moves product filled oven racks. Un-trays product from baking pans onto packaging. Garnishes baked goods according to item requirements; stacks used baking pans on pan dollies.

- Scales finished product and records on weight verification sheets.

- Packages and wraps baked goods by hand or wrapping machine according to merchandise manual.

- Uses racks or carts to move or stock wrapped product onto tables and pallets. Responsible to maintain date rotation and merchandising presentation throughout the day.

- Assists with other bakery duties as needed.





- Follows SSOP guidelines as it refers to proper cleaning and sanitation of all equipment required by this position.

- Completes and complies with 11 Commandments of Quality Assurance, Food Safety Certification and all Safety training required by warehouse and department.

Non-Essential Functions and Tasks:

- Assists with front end duties as necessary.

- Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.

- Education/Training: None.

- Licenses/Certifications: None.

- Experience: Previous Bakery experience is preferred.

- Knowledge/Skills: None.

Must be available to work AM/PM shifts and weekends.
