The Role: Forster Private Hospital is seeking experienced CSSD Technician to join our dynamic team. The CSSD Technician you will be responsible for the reprocessing and sterilisation of surgical instruments and equipment to the Operating Theatres and clinical areas within the hospital. This position would suit both experienced CSSD Technicians as well as those currently studying for a health-related discipline at a tertiary level.

Essential Criteria:

- Certificate III in Sterilisation (or working towards)
- Experienced Instrument Technician with current knowledge of all aspects of sterilising services
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a CSSD department with cleaning, decontaminating, sorting and assembling surgical instrument trays
- A team player with strong collaborative interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work a rotating roster that includes weekend shifts
- Willingness to learn and be coachable
- Be able to perform under pressure
- NSW Police Check
- WWC Check
