POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking to grow our Development Team with a passionate and motivated industrial focused Senior Development Manager. Reporting to the Chief Property and Development Officer, you will take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of significant large industrial developments. This is a pivotal, hands-on role opportunity for the successful candidate to lead and execute Hickory’s $1B industrial development and advanced manufacturing pipeline across Victoria and New South Wales.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Site identification, due diligence and acquisition workstreams.
- Planning, design development and infrastructuredelivery.
- Managingcommercialoutcomes,budgetsandprojectfeasibility.
- Engaging and overseeingconsultants,contractorsanddeliverypartners.
- Fostering and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Identify emerging project risks and recommend practical solutions.
- Drive portfolio prioritisation and optimisation.
- Contributingtothestrategicdirectionandlong-termvisionof Hickory.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE

- 5+ years’ experience in a Senior Development Manager role.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as Architecture, Property Development, Project Management or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of project delivery frameworks.
- Proven track record delivering large‑scale industrial developments and manufacturing facilities.
- A collaborative and adaptable qualified who thrives in a fast‑paced team environment.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.
- Commercially minded, detail‑focused and results‑driven.
- Comfortable operating autonomously while maintaining disciplined reporting to senior leadership.
- Exposure to Estate Master or similar financial feasibility tools is preferred.
