Executive Director - Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital

About the role
The Executive Director, Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH), provides strategic and operational leadership for Queensland's largest quaternary and tertiary referral hospital. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, Metro North Health, this role is responsible for leading one of Australia's largest and most complex healthcare facilities, ensuring excellence in patient-centred care, workforce performance, service delivery, research, education and operational outcomes.

About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

- Provide executive leadership that promotes a high-performing, values-driven culture and ensures the delivery of safe, effective and patient-centred healthcare services across RBWH.
- Lead strategic and operational planning to ensure hospital services are responsive to current and future healthcare needs, while driving innovation, clinical redesign and continuous improvement.
- Establish and maintain robust clinical, operational and business governance frameworks that support quality, safety, accountability, financial sustainability and exceptional performance outcomes.
- Foster an workplace that supports research, education, workforce development,



quality improvement and the development of future healthcare leaders.
- Build strong collaborative partnerships with clinicians, consumers, community representatives, government agencies, universities, research institutions and other key stakeholders to advance healthcare outcomes and organisational objectives
