The Role

We're looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead the in office delivery of our commercial construction projects from start to finish ideally between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. You'll be the driving force on site, managing trades, solving problems in real-time, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standard.

Working on projects ranging from $250k to $15m, you'll run the show on site while collaborating closely with Project Managers, Contracts Administrators and our wider team to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients. We are looking for a Site Manager that can work between both our Sunshine Coast and Brisbane delivery teams covering our Northside projects.

We don't do your average projects - think live sites, sporting facilities, universities, heritage buildings, hospitals and more! Oh and throw in some new builds as well.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all on-site operations from mobilisation through to practical completion

Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to ensure smooth workflow and programme adherence

Ensure compliance with WHS requirements, quality standards and contractual obligations

Proactively identify and resolve site issues before they become problems

Manage site logistics, programming and sequencing of works

Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and professional site conduct

Oversee quality control, inspections and defect management

Work collaboratively with Project Managers and Contracts Administrators to support procurement, variations and project reporting

Foster a positive, productive site culture that reflects Plexxcon’s values

About You





Proven experience as a Site Manager in commercial construction

Strong technical knowledge and ability to read plans, specifications and manage construction processes

Excellent leadership and people management skills - you know how to get the best from your trades

Solutions-focused mindset with the ability to think on your feet

Strong communicator who builds trust with clients, subcontractors and the team

High safety standards and commitment to maintaining a compliant, well-run site

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment

Someone who takes pride in their work and genuinely enjoys being part of a team
