Our client is a well-established and growing organisation within the automotive industry looking for engaging, customer-focused people to join their Sydney team.

This is a phone-based customer role combining customer service, sales and relationship building. You’ll be speaking with customers who have already expressed an interest in the company’s services, understanding their needs and guiding them through the process.

We’re particularly interested in people coming from call centre, contact centre, customer service or sales environments who are confident on the phone and know how to engage with different types of customers.

The Role

You’ll manage customer enquiries from initial contact through to an outcome, with responsibility for:

- Handling and following up inbound customer enquiries
- Speaking with customers across phone, email and SMS
- Building genuine rapport and understanding individual customer needs
- Gathering accurate information and updating internal systems
- Managing your own pipeline and customer follow-ups
- Discussing pricing and confidently handling customer questions
- Negotiating where required to reach the right outcome
- Coordinating next steps with internal teams
- Working towards individual and team targets and KPIs
- Delivering a high level of customer service throughout the process

The role has a sales and commercial element, but this isn’t about hard selling.



The focus is on having quality conversations, building trust and creating a great customer experience.

About You

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

- Experience in a call centre, contact centre or phone-based customer environment
- Sales experience would be highly regarded, but isn’t essential
- Excellent communication and customer engagement skills
- Confidence discussing pricing and handling objections
- Experience working towards targets or KPIs
- Robust follow-up and organisational skills
- The ability to multitask and manage changing priorities
- Confidence using CRM and customer management systems
- A positive, energetic and proactive attitude

Most importantly, we’re looking for people who are engaging, switched on and genuinely enjoy speaking with customers.

Working Hours

This is a permanent full-time position working across a rotating roster: Monday–Friday: 8am–8pm

Saturday: 8am–5pm

Sunday: 9am–5pm

Weekend work is shared across the team. When you work a weekend, you’ll receive time off during the week as part of your roster.
