About the role

As a Customs Clearance Broker, you will ensure the smooth and compliant movement of international shipments through customs. You will collaborate with customers, government agencies, and internal teams to streamline customs clearance and maintain regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end customs clearance for imports and exports, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations
- Manage the comprehensive SAC e-commerce parcel clearance process, ensuring full compliance with customs regulations and efficient handling of high-volume shipments
- Review and process customs documentation (invoices, bills of lading, permits, etc.)
- Classify goods, determine duty rates, and address tax liabilities
- Coordinate with Australian Border Force (ABF), AQIS, and other regulatory bodies
- Work with CTO, CFS, shipping lines, airlines, and co-loaders
- Resolve customs issues such as holds, inspections, and disputes
- Stay updated on customs regulations, trade agreements, and tariff changes




- Communicate with international clients to organize timely freight transport
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving clearance issues promptly

About you

- 3+ years of experience as a Customs Broker
- Quarantine Certification and a current Australian customs broker license
- Experience in SAC (Self-Assessed Clearance) procedures, particularly for e-commerce parcels
- Background in freight forwarding or customs
- Robust attention to detail and documentation
- Rights to live and work in Australia
