Our client is a leading organisation delivering infrastructure projects across Australia and are seeking a Data Administrator to join their supportive and collaborative team on a long-term contract basis. The role offers predominantly remote working with flexibility for candidates based in WA, NSW, VIC or QLD.
Your new role
As a Data Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting active telecommunications and infrastructure projects by maintaining accurate records, processing project documentation and updating critical systems. Working within a high-performing virtual team, you will be responsible for ensuring project information is captured accurately and completed within required timeframes.
Key responsibilities include
- Reviewing and processing project documentation, drawings, photographs and field reports
- Performing high-volume and high-accuracy data entry and system updates
- Monitoring shared inboxes and coordinating project-related requests
- Assisting with project close-out activities, reconciliations and final claims processing
- Maintaining accurate asset and project records across multiple systems
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are achieved on time
- Utilising Microsoft Teams, Outlook, SharePoint and other project systems as part of daily operations
What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in data administration, technical data entry, project administration or similar positions
- Experience within telecommunications, utilities, construction or infrastructure environments
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately with technical documentation
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- The ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting while managing competing priorities
- Experience with project or asset management systems will be highly regarded
