You are passionate about dance and love working with kids! You are a well-rounded dancer, skilled in a range of styles, and are confident to adapt to our syllabus. You are confident to work with children of all ages but have a knack for connecting with teenagers, and are passionate about being a positive role model in their life.

You excel in creativity - your technique and choreography are fresh and creative, and you are able to impart your knowledge, skills, expertise and passion to your students. You are a team player and want to be part of building something that will grow and impact young lives all over Australia. You are full of life, love adventure, are knowledgeable, wise and fun.

OVERALL QUALITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS:

Self-starter, motivated, energetic, honest, integral, loyal, articulate, reliable, organized, productive, punctual, confident, creative, disciplined, thoughtful and strong in communicating.

- Minimum 3+ years of dance teaching experience is required
- High level of technical and choreographing skills
- Contributes to a positive, encouraging and unified team environment
- Patient, adaptable, nurturing, invested in the student's development and 100% present in the classroom
- Prolific in work preparation and classroom management
- A role model that inspires our students to reach their goals and be the best person they are created to be

We are specifically looking for a Ballet Teacher with Pointe training to train our pre-teens and teenager ballerinas who are ready for the next level. We are open to other dance teaching experience. WHY JOIN OUR TEAM?

DANCE TEACHER ROLE: Hours starting at 5 hours per week and can flex up to 38 hours for the right candidate.

Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents only.

As a Dance Teacher your role will involve but not be limited to:

- Present creative and engaging classes which retain the students' interest and enjoyment
- Create a positive, encouraging and motivated learning environment for all students, free of judgment and negativity
- Create and deliver content rich lessons to engage our dancers and develop their skills throughout the year
- Able to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with clients
- Complete required administration tasks
- Collaborate and contribute with team in preparing for competitions and concerts
