About the role

This is a long-term nanny position for a 1 year old, approximately 30 hours per week (around 4 days, preferably including Saturday). The priority is providing excellent care while actively supporting the child's development through age-appropriate play and activities, particularly speech and language development, gross and fine motor skills, cognitive development and educational play, and social skills, confidence and independence.

Key responsibilities

- Provide excellent care and actively support child's development through age-appropriate play and activities

- Plan baby's weekly activities

- Take child to playgroups, swimming, classes and parks

- Prepare healthy meals

- Manage naps and routines

- Keep child's clothes, toys and areas organised

- Proactively suggest activities and adapt them as child develops

About you

- Experienced and proactive nanny

- Solid interest or background in early childhood development

- Experience or qualifications in early childhood education, speech and language development, occupational/physiotherapy, Montessori or similar areas highly valued
