Delivery Driver & Warehouse Assistant – Plumbing & Flooring Supplies

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Delivery Driver & Warehouse Assistant to join our team. The role involves delivering plumbing and flooring products to customers and job sites, as well as assisting with general warehouse duties when required.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM The role involves transporting a range of goods, from small boxes and packages to larger and heavier items, including appliances, toilets, bathtubs, flooring materials and other plumbing products.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely load, transport and unload plumbing, flooring and related products
- Organise and prepare deliveries according to customer orders and delivery schedules
- Check orders to ensure the correct products are loaded before leaving
- Deliver goods to customers, businesses and job sites
- Handle both small packages and heavy/bulky items
- Use trolleys and other equipment to safely move products
- Assist with loading and unloading at the warehouse and delivery locations
- When there are no deliveries, assist with general warehouse duties, including organising stock, picking and packing orders, loading/unloading goods and keeping the warehouse clean and organised




- Ensure products are handled carefully to prevent damage
- Maintain a clean and organised delivery vehicle
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures

Requirements
- Valid Australian driver's licence
- Good driving record and safe driving habits
- Good spoken English and communication skills
- Physically fit and comfortable lifting and moving heavy items
- Reliable, punctual and responsible
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to assist with warehouse duties when required

Desirable
- Forklift licence is preferred but not essential
- Experience in delivery driving, warehousing, plumbing, flooring, construction or a similar industry is an advantage
- Experience operating forklifts or warehouse equipment is beneficial

What We Provide
- Trolleys and equipment to assist with moving heavy and bulky products
- Electric forklifts are available, so a forklift licence is not essential
- 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM working hours
