We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager - Modernisation to lead our Queensland Modernisation Sales team, based in Brisbane.
Reporting to the Regional General Manager, you will drive sales growth, increase market share and lead a team focused on securing upgrade, refurbishment and replacement opportunities across Queensland.
With significant investment across commercial, residential and infrastructure sectors, including projects linked to the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games , this is an exciting opportunity to influence Schindler's growth while helping customers improve the safety, performance and reliability of their building assets.

What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and execute the Queensland Modernisation sales strategy to deliver sustainable growth and market leadership.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Technical Sales Consultants to achieve ambitious sales targets and career growth.
- Identify, pursue and secure upgrade, refurbishment and replacement opportunities across a diverse customer portfolio.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with building owners, strata managers, facility managers, consultants and key decision-makers.
- Support solution development, commercial positioning and customer presentations.
- Drive pipeline management, forecasting accuracy and sales performance.
- Monitor market trends,
competitor activity and emerging opportunities to inform sales strategy.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering and Senior Leadership teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

What You'll Bring
- Proven sales leadership experience within the lift industry, building services, infrastructure, engineering, facilities management or technical solutions sectors.
- Demonstrated success selling complex technical solutions in a B2B workplace.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing sales pipelines, forecasting and contract negotiations.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing sales teams.
- The ability to influence and engage customers, partners and internal stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical, strategic planning and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
Highly Regarded
- Experience within lift and escalator modernisation sales.
- Experience developing and presenting technical solutions to customers.
- Knowledge of competitor products, modernisation solutions and market trends.
- Experience using SHAPE or similar configuration and quotation tools.
- Knowledge of Australian Standards and the National Construction Code (NCC).
- Established networks across Queensland's property, facilities management and building services sectors.
