Dentique Dental Spa is a well-established, up-to-date dental practice in Mount Lawley with a strong focus on cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign and high-quality patient care.

We are looking for an exceptionally reliable, proactive and experienced Dental Assistant to become an important part of our clinical team. A key part of this role will be assisting our new dentist with oral surgery, extractions and implant dentistry, so an interest in surgical dentistry is essential.

About the Role

This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys a busy clinical environment, takes ownership of their surgery and likes being one step ahead.

Your responsibilities will include

- Chairside assisting across general, cosmetic, restorative and surgical dentistry
- Assisting with oral surgery, extractions and implant procedures
- Preparing surgical procedures and anticipating the clinician’s needs
- Ensuring instruments, materials and equipment are prepared and ready before treatment
- Sterilisation and maintaining exceptional infection-control standards
- Managing surgery stock and ensuring essential items are always available




- Supporting the smooth and efficient flow of patients throughout the day
- Completing opening, closing and clinical checklists consistently
- Maintaining an immaculate, organised and well-prepared surgery
- Supporting other members of the team whenever needed

- Takes initiative and follows tasks through to completion
- Is comfortable with accountability, systems and checklists
- Remains calm and professional during busy or complex procedures
- Is warm, reassuring and caring with patients
- Enjoys learning and developing new clinical skills
- Is confident with technology and learns new systems quickly




- Is a genuine team player who is always willing to help
- Takes pride in keeping their surgery and clinical areas immaculate

Previous dental assisting experience is highly regarded, particularly experience with oral surgery or implant procedures. Certificate III in Dental Assisting is preferred but not essential for an exceptional candidate with the right experience and attitude.
