Diesel Fitters | Groote Eylandt |FIFO from Cairns or Darwin | 7/7 Roster | Ongoing Roles

Downunder Group Solutions are currently seeking experienced Diesel Fitters for long-term, ongoing opportunities at Groote Eylandt. This is a FIFO position offering consistent work.

The Opportunity:

- Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay
- 7/7 rotating roster (day and night shifts)
- Ongoing role with extension potential
- Flights, accommodation, meals and PPE provided

Key Responsibilities:

- Carry out scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs
- Diagnose faults and perform effective troubleshooting
- Complete component change-outs and equipment rebuild
- Support equipment readiness during planned laydown periods

Key Requirements:

- Australian recognised Trade Certificate (Diesel Fitter / Heavy Diesel)




- High Risk Work Licence
- Experience working on CAT mining equipment
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
- Previous Groote Eylandt Experience
- Full Australian working rights (citizen or permanent resident)
- Current Driver’s Licence
